Annales Academiae Medicae Gedanensis (ISSN 0303-4135) was the scientific and informational journal published annually by the Medical University of Gdańsk (MUG) since 1970. It published original research as well as review articles and case reports in Polish language as well as a chronicle of MUG events. No electronic version was available.
Establishing a scientific journal was the idea of prof. Stefan Raszeja (MUG Rector for Science at the time) and was fully supported by the Rector of MUG at the time, prof. Marian Górski. Prof. Raszeja served as the Journal's first editor-in-chief until 1999. He was succeded by prof. Roman Kaliszan (2000-2005), prof. Marek Grzybiak (2006-2016) and prof. Dariusz Kozłowski (2017-2018).
Annales Academiae Medicae Gedanensis are continued as the European Journal of Translational and Clinical Medicine, also published by the Medical University of Gdańsk.
