Abstract

Obliterative atheromatosis is, in most cases, the cause of chronic lower limbs ischemia. Symptoms of the disease are unusually bothersome and thus, they negatively affect patients’ quality of life. Therefore, improving this aspect is the main goal of the treatment methods applied in vascular surgery.

The aim of the study is reviewing the methods and results of life quality evaluation in patients with peripheral atheromatosis.

The authors present the review of literature on evaluation of life quality in patients with peripheral vascular disorders as well as the results and tools used in the evaluation.
