Abstract

Raynaud’s phenomenon is a characteristic symptom manifested by recurrent peripheral vasoconstriction of the fingers and toes associated with exposure to cold temperature or stress. Patients with this disorder frequently remain under the care of rheumatologists and dermatologists. However, various etiology and frequency of Raynaud’s phenomenon joins physicians with all specializations, because they may encounter a patient with this disorder. The aim of this article is to present the most important epidemiological data, clinical diagnosis and treatment of patients with Raynaud’s phenomenon useful in clinical practice.
