Abstract

The Department of Ethics of Medical University of Gdansk was created 10 years ago, but the tradition of medical ethics teaching is much longer at our university. The aim of this article is to present the most important occurrences leading to the Department’s formation in 2003. The important “ethical events” during 10 years of Department’s existence are also presented.
