Abstract

The aim of the publication is to present the Constraint Induced Movement Therapy. The paper describes the sources of the therapy and its evolution. In addition, theoretical basics and practical elements of the therapy have been indicated. The results of the studies which have been presented aim at optimizing the efficiency of this method. The knowledge of CIMT, frequently mentioned in the international specialist literature, can be of help in the process of treatment of a substantial number of patients.
