Abstract

We report a 43-year-old woman with no prior history of gastrointestinal disease, who was refferred to our hospital because of pseudoaneurysm of inferior pancreaticoduodenal artery. The aneursm was disclosed accidentally during abdominal sonography examination. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography and selective superior mesenteric diagnostic angiography revealed false aneuysm originating from the inferior pancreaticoduodenal artery. The diameter of the aneurysmal mass was 34-28 mm. The percutaneous stent-graft management of aneurysm was successfully performed. Periprocedural process and postprocedural follow-up have been unevenful as so far. In spite of lack well documented durability of such treatment we are persuaded that it was efficient and beneficial for the patient. We are sure it is especially adequate for management of aneurysms with multiple communicating vessels which are deeply embedded with the panceatic tissue.
